Broadband Optical Borehole Seismometer with Integrated RTD Temperature Probe
The ABBT is ASIR's broadband optical borehole seismometer with an integrated high-precision RTD temperature probe, providing simultaneous seismic and temperature measurements from a single borehole instrument. Utilizing three optical interferometer accelerometers, the ABBT delivers exceptional dynamic range, broadband frequency response, and ultra-low-noise performance while continuously recording downhole temperature. Designed for boreholes up to 1500 m deep, it is ideally suited for geothermal energy, mining, underground infrastructure, carbon storage (CCS), earthquake monitoring, and scientific research. Combined with ASIR's mechanical hole-lock system, the ABBT can be installed in boreholes with diameters from 95 mm to 226 mm.

Application & Deployment
